#....
Once again my promotions class and I are questioning the value of sleep spending all hours of the day (and night) in the media lab. It's come down to this. The book is finally getting writ. We pretty much finished up the template today. Other parts of the book are coming together as well. I'm looking forward to catching up on a whole bunch of sleep tonight as well as recovering from an ongoing stuffiness/cough that's been going around. I also see a lot of progress happening with the case comp---of course that's only because Sarah and I are doing like 98% of the work. blah... But it's cool, I'm getting to know a lot of faculty who are helping us and in the end I think we'll be pretty proud.
On another note as soon as these two things are over I'll return to drinking far more and working as little as possible .....yeah. Well at least I'll get to start looking for a job. Maybe I'll even ride my bike or something. Learn a second guitar song? It's about time I'd say. Anyhoo, I'm going to lie down now....slip into a coma for a while.

back in the ville
Alas I find myself back in charlottesville. After a week of sitting on my ass and eating nonstop on a carnival cruise I can happily say I don't want to be here. Not that I want to return to the cruise. I just feel like things are hanging over my head and that I am too lazy or not motivated enough to finish them. Everything seems easy enough during the planning stages. But right now I just want to throw in the towel. sike not really. but i'm going to feel soo good when this crap is all over with. ahhh.... the case competition, the promotions plans book, german play set construction, finding a job, making graduation arrangements, and exploring graduation trip possibilities. Really the first three are the only ones dragging me down. Those just positively suck because there's a lot of rushing going on. Everything is, or will be, last minute. And I hate that. I can do things with a deadline. But, there are no official deadlines for the case competition. And as for the plans book, no one on production can start entering stuff into the book until there's stuff to enter. blargh.
On a happier note, I was pleasantly surprised to come back to a stack of postcards from eileen. How in the hell do you have the energy to be writing to much? Eileen you are a crazy girl. And I love you. Postcards are the best. Sarah is helping me out of the kindness of her heart and is helping me with a design for the case comp. Thank god.... Also, I have a tan. and that is always good. My dad is taking care of getting my car fixed. I had been dragging that task out since november. For now I have my dad's car and he is driving the old van while my car gets inspected/repaired(<--hopefully). Hmm what else. What else....well I lost my license somewhere in miami, but I got a replacement today. This one is horizontal and with a much better picture. So overall I am pleased.
anyway i should get some reading done. i'll leave you all w/ some pics from this past week:
